Looking for a fun outlet for young people during the summer that is safe, supervised and affordable? In addition to the after-school programs for which Boys & Girls Clubs is known, we offer full-day camps during the summer at each of our Clubs. Young people are involved in a variety of engaging programs under the supervision of adult professionals, including field trips to baseball games, water parks, museums and other local attractions.

Young Explorers -- A summer program specifically designed for children, ages 5-9, will introduce them to various careers. Sessions will be complimented by field visits throughout the summer. Children will have the opportunity to participate in a myriad of club activities, special events, and field trips, but with the special Boys & Girls Club twist.

We offer a comprehensive array of programs that are valued at $500 per child each year. However, our annual membership fee is just $12 because we want every child to be able to join a Club.

For more information on specific programs, please contact us or just stop by the Clubs. All programs are supervised and instructed by our professionally trained staff.

Since 2002, Genesis Summer Camp has been providing a safe, fun environment for children in the community during the summer break from school. This Christian based camp is a ministry of Riverside Assembly of God church. We receive most of our referrals from parents who have benefited from their children attending our camp! We have an impeccable reputation for putting safety as our first priority while encouraging the campers to have fun. And we keep them soooo busy they are usually worn out when it’s time to go home! The parents seem to love this! Activities for the children include, but are not limited to: Swimming, Music & Dance Classes, Movies, Bowling, Roller Skating, Arts & Crafts, Bible instruction, Amusement parks, Lake Trips, “Fun Bus” for our younger campers, Camp “Olympics”

The camp is broken down into groups by age and we have a 1:5 counselor to camper ratio. Daily swimming is offsite at the local high school and certified instructors are available to teach inexperienced campers how to swim. The children go on various field trips according to their age group and participate in competitive sports, water sports, game time, popcorn theatre and other activities. Since we are a Christian camp, there is Bible instruction daily.
Camp is broken down into 2 separate sessions (4 weeks each Session).

Camp hours are 7:30am until 4:30pm, with aftercare available until 6pm at no charge.
Prices include breakfast, lunch, ALL activities and one free t-shirt for each session enrolled. Call Donna Murgola at 201-798-0642, ext 1 for more info.
